Create a unique, holiday-themed, pierced ceramic luminary. Utilizing a cone shape as a base, instructions will be provided to craft ONE of the following - ghost, witch, Christmas tree, Santa or snowman. As a final touch, you will carve holes in strategic areas of your luminary to allow for a votive to shine through. Finally, underglaze can be applied once the form is completed. The luminary form is completed in one day, however it will need to dry and be bisque-fired prior to final glazing. Arrangements can be made for the instructor to single glaze your piece or you can schedule a time to glaze yourself. This class is suitable for all levels, but some handbuilding experience is helpful.
