Picassiette mosaic, also known as pique assiette, is a mosaic art style that uses broken dishes, ceramic shards, and other found objects to create a design. The term pique assiette translates to "stolen from plate" in French. In this class, you’ll learn this mosaic technique as you create a 5” x 7” work of art.  The instructor will provide all materials, tools, and inspiration for your unique creation. If you have a specific broken dish, ceramic, or other object you’d like to be included in your mosaic, bring it along!
