Discover the magic of combining ink and watercolor in this engaging workshop. By starting with a dynamic ink drawing, shapes and edges are clearly defined, guiding the eye and adding visual interest, while watercolor washes bring the image to life. This technique makes the painting process approachable, and the watercolor can even help smooth over minor mistakes. With thorough demonstrations of the classic line & wash method, you'll learn how to prepare your drawing tools, get your watercolor paper ready, and extend your working time for maximum control. With guidance, you’ll draw and paint a 12” x 19” piece using a limited, yet vibrant palette of Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow Medium, and Prussian Blue. A full supply list will be provided at registration. Learn a method that combines drawing and painting in a fun, creative, and approachable way!
