Let your child make “dessert” for the Thanksgiving table! During week eight, students will learn simple paper-weaving techniques as they create their own colorful, calorie-free pies. From pumpkin and apple to a flavor entirely from their imagination, young artists can choose their favorite and add their own creative details. These handmade pies will make a festive addition to any Thanksgiving celebration!

About your instructor: Nicky earned her MS in Art Education from Syracuse University. She and her family live in Clayton, and she is the high school art teacher at Thousand Islands Central School, where she teaches classes in drawing and painting, traditional and digital photography, studio art, ceramics, sculpture, crafts, and interior design.
