Painting the Mood

Every picture tells a story—but the most compelling ones capture a mood. In this class, students will learn how to paint beyond the scene by using color, light, value, and atmosphere to create emotional impact. We’ll focus on strong composition, complementary color relationships, atmospheric perspective, and the use of lost and found edges. Through guided techniques and demonstrations, participants will learn how to bring energy, movement, and feeling into their work—transforming paintings from static to dynamic.
