Make a Spinner Ring!- Thursday

Learn to make a ring you’ll love to fidget with! In this hands-on class, students will measure, cut, file, and solder a sterling silver ring band, then add smaller spinner rings that move freely around it. Participants will gain an introduction to basic metalsmithing techniques and soldering while working with butane torches in a guided studio setting. The class fee includes instruction and materials for one ring band and 1–3 spinner rings. No jewelry-making experience is required, and you’ll leave with a finished ring you’ll be proud to say you made. For safety, students should wear close-toed shoes, bring a hair tie if they have long hair, and avoid loose or dangly clothing.
