Discover the timeless Japanese art of Gyotaku—the practice of printing directly from real fish to create striking, one-of-a-kind images. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn traditional methods alongside contemporary artistic approaches, exploring how to capture the intricate textures, movement, and spirit of each fish. Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike, this class blends creativity, nature, and a sense of adventure into a truly memorable art-making experience. Participants are encouraged to bring a pre-washed piece of clothing or fabric to print on; basic fabrics will also be provided.
